Italy’s SportMediaset have a rather complicated article on Wednesday evening, full of claims about potential Arsenal transfers.
We’ll go through it step by step, in the hope of not confusing you or us.
Firstly, it’s explained that Aaron Ramsey has agreed a deal with Juventus to move in the summer, all signed and sealed. That isn’t new, neither is the idea of the Turin club wanting to bring him in earlier.
However, it’s stated Arsenal had been asking for £20m, but now send ‘completely different signals’. The club are now said to be ready to see the back of the Welshman this month for £10m.
An obstacle could be agent commission, set at €9m for a free transfer, and renegotiable if the move happens this month.
Despite what the manager has said publicly, it’s stated Unai Emery’s relationship with Ramsey is on the slide, with fears of concentration slipping.
Therefore, if Arsenal bring in two loans, he’ll agree, without resistance, to Ramsey going.
The first signing would be Denis Suarez, well covered and apparently back up in the air.
The second would be James Rodriguez. On loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid, the German club have a buying clause and the idea is Arsenal would take over the loan and the clause.
This all sounds quite far fetched, especially for this stage of the window.
