With the uncertainty surrounding Marko Arnautovic’s future, West Ham have been looking around Europe for a striker.

Names such as Mattia Destro have come and gone, yet AS believe the Hammers are also looking for a new central midfielder, and they’re thinking outside the standard top five league box to get their man.

The Spanish newspaper report, according to their own information, that West Ham are currently in talks with Viktoria Plzen regarding Patrik Hrovosky, who scored for the Czech side in the Champions League against Real Madrid this season.

Joined by Stuttgart, who are also interested, it isn’t said how much the Premier League club would have to pay for the 26-year-old, simply stating Transfermarkt values him at €4.5m.

Hrosovsky has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and picking up two assists, and has 21 caps for Slovakia to his name, the last of which came in October 2018 against Sweden.
