Manchester United signed Luca Ercolani from Italian club Forli in 2016 after he impressed during a trial.
He can play as a right or left footed centre-back and has been promoted from the U18s to U23s.
The defender has also been part of the Red Devils squad that took part in the UEFA Youth League, where he has five appearances to his name this campaign.
The Italian’s contract with his current employer will run down this season and Tutto Mercato Web claims he’s drawn attention from clubs in his homeland and a few other clubs across Europe.
The clubs said to be interested aren’t given names.
Ercolani’s ‘wish’ is to continue his relationship with the 20-time English champions beyond this term and for that, he has to renew his current deal.
According to the report, the Red Devils have already started the negotiations to hand him a new deal and now it should be seen if the two parties can reach an agreement soon.
