Crystal Palace have reportedly closed a deal with São Paulo for the transfer of goalkeeper Lucas Perri.
As reported by Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, the 21-year-old is joining the London side on a loan deal until the end of the season, with the Eagles having an option to buy.
Lucas Perri had been at São Paulo’s pre-season preparation in the United States, and shouldn’t even train with the team anymore.
Once again, Globo Esporte doesn’t say the exact amount Palace would have to pay. They say it’s €3.5m with another €1m possible.
It’s claimed that Crystal Palace are getting 80% of his economic rights for that amount, with São Paulo keeping the other 20%. Third party ownership isn’t allowed in the Premier League, so that’s likely to be a percentage of a future transfer.
Globo Esporte adds that Perri sorted out his Italian passport last year, so he should have no problems being registered in the Premier League.
