Manchester City are back on chasing Isco from Real Madrid, according to reports from Spain today.
In claims made by Eduardo Inda, from Chiringuito de Jugones, which are covered by Sport, it’s said that Pep Guardiola’s ‘reliable man’ has made contact to know more about the midfielder’s situation at the La Liga side.
Sport doesn’t make it clear who this ‘reliable man’ is, although it would probably be Txiki Begiristain or Ferran Soriano. Manchester City’s interest in the player is said to be ‘reactivated’ with these new contacts.
Recently benched by Santiago Solari, Isco has his relationship with the manager ‘broken’, and that’s why a January move isn’t being ruled out.
Although Sport is giving the story some attention, it’s worth pointing out that Chiringuito isn’t the most reliable show in Spain, so let’s wait a few days and see if this story gets coverage from other outlets.
