Barcelona academy midfielder Ilaix Moriba, simply known as Ilaix, is drawing attention from several clubs across Europe.
According to Sport, the two sides that are most advanced in their efforts to sign the 15-year-old are Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.
The Etihad outfit and the German side have already made their proposals to his representative and it’s claimed the offers are ‘very attractive’, both in terms of finances and the sporting project.
Before taking any decision, Ilaix is waiting to see if the Blaugrana will make an effort to keep one of the upcoming prospects of their famous youth system.
So far, Barca have not made any offers to hand him his first professional contract, despite having several meetings between the two parties. Sport claims the club is ‘one step away’ from losing their jewel, who made his debut with Juvenil A on Wednesday.
He will turn 16 next January and the Premier League winners will be hoping to beat the Bundesliga outfit to the teenager’s signing.
Manchester City may face a challenge because Dortmund have the reputation of providing youngsters a chance in their first team.
