According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are continuing to track Everton forward Oumar Niasse.
There have been recent reports the Turkish champions tried to sign the player during the last transfer window after holding talks with the Premier League club.
Fanatik have reported Niasse tops Galatasaray’s wanted list as they look to bring in a No.9 in the next transfer window.
In the summer the Istanbul club sold Bafétimbi Gomis and it was hoped they could replace the Frenchman with the Everton player.
However, despite discussions with Marcel Brands, and Niasse shaking on the transfer, a deal couldn’t be completed before the Super Lig transfer window closed.
It’s now expected Galatasaray will contact Everton in the coming weeks and will offer €1.5m to loan the attacker for the second half of the season.
It’s claimed by Fanatik that Galatasaray are confident of getting an agreement with Everton in the new year because of the warm relationship between the two clubs. In the last window the Toffees agreed to loan Henry Onyekuru to the Turkish side for the season.
Galatasaray have failed to score in their past two Champions League matches and really need a reliable goalscorer.
