The Portuguese press now acknowledges that it may take a while until we get to know the details of Rui Patrício’s move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The agreement between Sporting and the Premier League side has been getting daily coverage in the local press, as the money will be important for the Lions’ budget this year.

Now newspaper A Bola has found out that the agreement is being made official, with the legal teams of both clubs working on the documents.

But they claim that the deal should only be made public after the Portuguese side of the announcement is done first . It should be first divulged by Sporting, as they traditionally publish all their transfers on CMVM so members and fans can all have access to the information.

A Bola claims there’s ‘not much info for now’, but from what they’ve managed to learn, it’s certain that Sporting will make around €14m with the transfer. The rest of the money should go to Gestifute.
