If there’s one thing we’ve discovered from reading the Italian press on a daily basis, it’s that they really like their percentages.

Tuttosport, however, took it to a whole new level this week by looking at 50 players across Europe and letting their readers know how likely Juventus are to get said footballer by sticking a percentage next to their picture.

And, if you’ve been following Liverpool transfer news for some time, you won’t be surprised to discover that Emre Can is mentioned.

In fact, he’s one of the footballers with the highest rate of successfully transferring to Juventus, with Tuttosport stating there’s a 75% chance of it happening.

Of course, this is based on the assumption he will run down his contract at Liverpool and decide to join the Serie A champions between January and June, arriving there on a free.

There’s still two months before that happens, which we assume accounts for the 25% chance of him not ending up in Turin next season and staying at Liverpool instead.

Frankly, this is all a bit too much, what with all the percentages adding up to 1451, but, at the end of the day, we’ve tried to make sense of the Italian habit of percentages in football transfers for a long time, and we’re still struggling.
