Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are all ‘bidding hard’ to sign Messinho, according to Sunday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo.

Estêvão Willian is a 16-year-old Palmeiras youth product and he takes the front page of Sunday’s Mundo. He’s better known as Messinho, which as you will have suspected, means ‘Little Messi’.

Obviously, the Catalan newspaper are focusing on interest from Barcelona, but they have to bring competition in to add to the drama and to make it look like the Bluagrana are on the verge of beating the great and good to Brazil’s latest wonder-kid.

In that regard it’s stated: ‘Several of the big clubs in Europe such as Manchester City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG are bidding hard for Messinho.’

Mundo Deportivo say Messinho is seen as a ‘clear candidate’ to win the Ballon d’Or in future, and he’s being hyped to a ridiculous level.

Of course, it’s stated he wants to join Barcelona above any other option, and Palmeiras are said to be ready to respect his decision and hold off other clubs.

The youngster wouldn’t be able to move to Europe until he turns 18-years-of-age, and in all honesty it feels like the English clubs, and perhaps PSG as well, are being used to build this story.
