Marvelous Nakamba is having a great start to his Club Brugge career, recently named the Belgian side’s Player of the Month.

Since joining Club Brugge from Vitesse during the summer, Nakamba has been a revelation, and is already considered a great signing. Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad have a big article on the player and his Zimbabwe background in their Tuesday edition, and it certainly sounds like Nakamba is winning fans in the country.

Vitesse fans gave Nakamba the nickname ‘Bulldozer from Bulawayo’, and Het Nieuwsblad believe that’s unfair, because the 23 year old has already shown there’s much more to his game. Rather than simply being a stopper, the Belgian newspaper say Nakamba is technically very good too, the midfielder has a few tricks and uses them to the benefit of his team.

Of course, doing well in Belgium will always lead to transfer rumours, but Nakamba is said to be very clear on where he wants to go: Liverpool.

The footballer’s father is a big Liverpool fan, and the Brugge star is very keen to please his parents, so much so that Liverpool are described as his ‘dream’ club.

One for Jurgen Klopp to keep an eye on. It could be a Marvelous signing for Liverpool. (Sorry)
