After leaving Everton last summer, striker Rafael Garcia has finally found a new club to play for.

As reported by Spanish outlet Gols Media, the 20-year-old has joined Alcorcón’s B squad in a ‘surprising’ move.

His arrival has already been made official by the club, who in their official statement, highlight his past at Everton.

Alcorcon are currently part of Spain’s third division, and the B squad, which he’s initially joining, are in the fourth tier, although good performances there could naturally give him promotion to their main team.

Garcia left Everton last summer after five years at the club, after he moved to the Goodison Park still in 2017, in a transfer from Fulham’s adacemy.

The striker had many appearances for the Toffees’ academy, but was never given the chance to be part of the first team.

Despite being born in London and featuring for England’s youth ranks, the player has Spanish heritage and citizenship, and shouldn’t have major problems adapting to the country. That will be his chance to start his career in professional football.
