On June 21st, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Tottenham Hotspur have Juventus’ Federico Chiesa on their agenda for this summer.

Earlier this month, claims from Italy had stated the forward will marry Lucia Bramani on July 20th.

Quotidiano Sportivo say the Serie A side have granted the 26-year-old extra days off for his marriage and talk about Tottenham’s interest.

The Italy international’s deal lasts until 2025 and there’s been no progress made with the Old Lady for his renewal because he isn’t a key part of their new project under Thiago Motta.

AS Roma are keen, but he’s put this option on standby. The report states Chiesa could make a switch to the Premier League, where Tottenham have asked about him.

This claim is backed up by a fresh report from Gazzetta dello Sport, relayed by Tutto Juve, who then share their own update.

The attacker is aware of Roma’s interest, but he would evaluate his future after returning to Turin club. His future seems ‘increasingly distant’ from Juve, and if there’s a transfer the player’s preference is to move abroad.

It’s claimed Tottenham have made contact to try and sign Chiesa, and Juve want at least €20-25m plus bonuses to part ways with him. This could be a bargain deal for the north London club.

As well as Spurs, Chelsea are in the picture, while the two reports mention the possibility of a swap deal with Manchester United involving Chiesa and Jadon Sancho.
