Arsenal have reportedly made another approach for the Brazilian right-back Bruno Peres.
Tuttosport says that one more contact between the Gunners and Torino was made on Wednesday, as the London club wanted to know more information about signing the player.
More information about signing the player can be easily explained as: How much, and on what payment terms?
According to the newspaper, Arsenal had already made a €16m/£13.5m bid before, but it wasn’t enough to convince the Italian side.
It seems that the Manchester City interest has disappeared. The player had been heavily linked to Pep Guardiola’s side last month, but it was never mentioned again.
At the moment, Arsenal biggest competition for the 26-year-old is said to be Wolfsburg.
A week ago Arsenal sent a club official, presumably a scout, to the match between Benfica and Torino. It’s unusual for scouts to attend pre-season friendlies, but Arsenal had someone there, and Bruno Peres played.
